Overview
studio, 1 bathroom, 6 guests, 1 night minimum
This is a rustic cabin nestled in the middle of Cherokee country on a beautiful 17-acre homestead. Longshadows Ranch is a Cherokee-owned, working homestead farm and ranch. This is a great place to experience a small slice of farm life with chickens, ducks, bees, horses, a garden and pond. We are bringing on a cow, rabbits, sheep and goats throughout 2024. People are welcome to roam our land and we offer guided tours and plant walks as well. Children love to collect eggs, pick veggies from the garden and enjoy paddock rides on the horses. Pick up bread, cheese and eggs while you are here. We also offer prepared foods, reasonable prices, when we have extra. There is a kitchen with a stove top, air fryer, and full fridge with plenty of space for pantry items.
We are 10 minutes from the award winning Sequoia State Park with boat rentals, a restaurant, nature center for the kids and beautiful hiking trails. We are a short drive from Tahlequah, the capital of the Cherokee Nation and 45 minutes from fine dining and shopping in Broken Arrow and Tulsa. We are considered to be in the foothills of the Ozarks and everywhere you go you will enjoy spectacular views.
